as good as he has played this year, i dont care if he gets abducted by lil green men as long as his play keeps up.

i think the spurs need to have TD contemplate retirement and Tony Parker **** a teammate's wife before every season from now on.

They're beating teams scoring 110 a game, that's not going to carrying on past the break IMO.

Why not? This is not your mother's Spurs, these are high octance scorers who put up a ton of points.
What makes you say that? Its not as if they have had players playing way above their level, its more of players playing as well as they are supposed to play.

Not to mention Splitter will eventually get accustomed to the NBA game and Hill will find his stroke eventually.

That's not their style of play, it's never has been, it's not this year. This IS the same Spurs, they have been playing well, but you can't seriously think this is going to carry on all season. Pop hasn't changed anything dramatically for it to happen, it's just happening, there's nothing high octane about them *scratching head on that one. These are the same Spurs that built a program on defense, so I don't know where you're getting that one.

No they aren't. They dont run the same defensive sets, they dont run teh same style, they dont slow the ball down nearly as much, etc... The style of play is not the same at all.

If the Spurs were shooting 60% from the field or shooting 50% from three and making all sorts of shots that were luck, I would agree. But its not been that at all. the focus is no longer on the half court defense, evidenced by their points allowed.
